"That song is Canadian!?" Oh yeah. You would be AMAZED how much REALLY GOOD music comes from Canada!
Don't miss this evening of exhilarating music and often hilarious story telling as three incredible vocalists take you on a musical journey through Canada's awesome music history! Starting as far back as the 1500's with, what many agree to be, the first song of Canada, to the folk songs of settlement, to the age of radio. Shortly thereafter, we travel through an amazing folk movement led by Cohen, Murray, Mitchell and Buffy St. Marie. It's a 'magical music carpet ride' through the 70's (we don't want to 'Rush' you through this era), to the unforgettable 80's, hearing from the likes of Heart, Adams and the ultra odd, Men Without Hats, to name a few. The 90's are filled with Ladies; Twain, McLaughlin, Lavigne, Arden or the 'Bare-Naked' type (FYI - we're talking about the Bare Naked Ladies, the BAND, not the actual 'event'!! Important to clarify), to the 21st century, where things get "Feisty"! Bad puns aside, Beiber, Drake, The Weeknd, Arcade Fire, THE LIST GOES ON AND ON....it's a live musical cabaret celebration that will have you up on your feet! Whether you're a Canadian or just visiting, you'll leave having celebrated one of the things Canada does best - MAKE GREAT MUSIC!
